FREQUENT PLAYER POINTS

Despite the many books on how to beat this game,
The House not only has the "odds" on its side,
but something else that seems to border on magic as
ALL DEALERS

seem to have the uncanny ability
to pull just the right cards they need
while the player receives incredibly bad cards

This happens even in our free BLACKJACK TIME game
where the dealer is a computer
and doesn't care whether
YOU
win or lose.

HOWEVER,
because CHEATING is ALWAYS a concern, it is important that this issue be addressed at this time:

CHEATING

  1. It is only logical that if we decided to cheat,
    It would be in
    OUR INTEREST
    To help you win.
Winners are happier and would stay longer to see more ads.
    BUT then
    this would no longer be
THE MOST AUTHENTIC GAME OUTSIDE OF A LIVE CASINO.

  2. We don't use a card generator
    set to some winning percentage
This is the ONLY site that places the cards into a shoe after shuffling
    (just like a live casino).

The cards are dealt until every one of the 416 cards have been issued
We even show you the count so that you can prove to yourself that every card is there.

At the end of the shoe
the cards are again shuffled and a fresh shoe is provided.
Although Blackjack is known as a game of chance
and
Everyone has the opportunity of receiving the same good/bad hands,
We note that
Many of the same players
Are often in the winning circle of our tournaments.

THE REASON SOME PEOPLE WIN

One reason is "patience."
Anyone can get lucky (or unlucky) but players who
MANAGE THEIR MONEY
And don't just bet the maximum every hand
are most likely to win the most often.

OUR 10% RULE

We allow you to bet up to 10% of the credits we issue to you,
whether it is at the beginning of the game
OR
after you lose all of your credits and we issue you additional credits
(although the additional credits issued will be fewer than the beginning credits).

It isn't unusual to lose 10 hands in a row. So, to people betting the max, the game will appear especially brutal when they lose a string of hands.

WHY THE CASINOS HAVE TABLE LIMITS

Our "Table Max" of 10% also provides you with a glimpse of why the casinos have table limits - and it's NOT for the players' advantage.

If you ever do lose all of your credits, you will discover that players who are able to bet more than you, will have the advantage.
So
Although we will issue you additional credits to keep you in the game
You will be handicapped upon accepting more credits.

LEVELING THE PLAYING FIELD

To help new players and those with less than 1,000 FPP, we came up with the MARATHON METHOD of Scoring.
This unique, patent pending scoring method provides an advantage to certain players while NOT affecting our top players.
We do this by providing additional winning positions.

THE BENEFIT OF THE TOP CATEGORY

Our "A" category players receive the opportunity to win our best prizes.

Our MARATHON METHOD of Scoring allows the "B" and "C" category players
to compete on their own levels and win Points
To help them into the "A" category where they can win prizes.
By clicking on the
MARATHON METHOD of Scoring link (above)
you will see the full explanation of how the scoring method works.

OTHER USES OF THE FPP

The FREQUENT PLAYER POINTS may also be used to pay the player's way into some of our major tournaments in which the prize is
airfare, room comp, and entry into a major Vegas casino's tournament as a BJT representative.

SCORING

Unless the rules of a paticular tournament state otherwise, the following FREQUENT PLAYER POINTS are awarded to the winners:
(Increased in 2003)

Top scoring players of a CURRENT ROUND:
  1. FIRST POSITION: 300 FPP
  2. SECOND POSITION: 250 FPP
  3. THIRD POSITION: 200 FPP
  4. FOURTH POSITION: 150 FPP
  5. FIFTH POSITION: 100 FPP
  6. SIXTH POSITION: 75 FPP
  7. SEVENTH POSITION: 50 FPP
  8. EIGTH POSITION: 25 FPP

THE WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT is determined by the FINAL ROUND.

  1. FIRST POSITION: 500 FPP
  2. SECOND POSITION: 300 FPP
  3. THIRD POSITION: 200 FPP
  4. FOURTH POSITION: 150 FPP
  5. FIFTH POSITION: 100 FPP
  6. SIXTH POSITION: 75 FPP
  7. SEVENTH POSITION: 50 FPP
  8. EIGTH POSITION: 50 FPP

  9. If scored by the MARATHON METHOD of Scoring then,
    except for FIRST POSITION,
duplicate positions and FPP are awarded.

    THREE PLAYER CATEGORIES

Our top players ("A" category) have acquired at least 1,000 FPP.
"B" category players have acquired at least 300, but less than 1,000 FPP.
"C" category players have under 300 FPP.

Unless stated otherwise, only the "A" category players have the option of taking the points or a named prize.

Some of our major tournaments require a certain number of points for entry and also the amount of the airfare available to be won.

    QUALIFYING HANDS

Unless the rules state otherwise, the players must complete
    60 HANDS
before qualifying for a winning position.

Again, unless stated otherwise, so long as the minimum 60 hands have been played, each person has the option of playing as many hands as desired right up to the end of the Round
(Rounds end on Monday nights at 8PM Mountain)

    LIMITED HAND ROUNDS

    SOME TOURNAMENTS MAY REQUIRE
that only a LIMITED number of hands be played.
    The players must then play
    EXACTLY
    no more and no less
than the number of LIMITED HANDS stated in order to qualify for a winning position.

    UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE,
    only the LIMITED HANDS players
    in the CURRENT ROUND
    qualify for a winning position.

    SUDDEN DEATH ROUNDS

Some tournaments require a SUDDEN DEATH ROUND to determine the winner(s).
This is an extra round for only those who qualified and will often require a PASSWORD for entry.
