QUESTION: The colors on my screen are totally messed up and I can't read some of the text!

ANSWER: Chances are your computer is set to display 256 colors or less. Change your display to thousands or millions of colors and your problem should go away.


QUESTION: The playing field is partly off of the screen and I can't scroll down; what should I do?

ANSWER: Either run your monitor in a higher resolution (like 600x800) or make your default type size smaller. You can turn off your toolbar and directory buttons as well. the specifics for doing this are different in each browser, so check your documentation.


QUESTION: I 'bookmarked' a game with my browser but when I use the bookmark to try and play I get a dozen error messages. What's up with that?

ANSWER: NEVER bookmark a game. You can bookmark the 'login' page if you want, but if you don't log in with your username and password, the system won't know who you are and will blow up.


QUESTION: I registered but never got my password in the mail. What happened?

ANSWER: The email address that you entered is wrong, so the email with your password never got delivered. SPECIAL NOTE FOR AOL USERS: Your "screen name" is NOT your email address. Your email address is "yourscreenname@aol.com". For instance, if your screen name is goober, your email address is goober@aol.com.


QUESTION: OK, I registered and screwed up my email address. When I realized my mistake, I re-registered with the correct email address but the system told me that the username that I wanted has already been taken! What do I do?

ANSWER: When you register (whether your email address is right or not), the username that you choose get entered in to the database as an active user. If you really want the original username that you requested, send an email message to help@blackjacktime.com explaining the situation and we'll either remail your password to you or change it on the fly.
